Na Slovensku vst\u00fapila energetick\u00e1 certifik\u00e1cia do platnosti 1.1.2008, ka\u017ed\u00fd stavebn\u00edk novostavby \u010di pri v\u00fdznamnej obnove budovy mus\u00ed vlastn\u00edk predlo\u017ei\u0165 tento certifik\u00e1t u\u017e pri kolauda\u010dnom konan\u00ed, na z\u00e1klade ktor\u00e9ho sa ur\u010d\u00ed jej potreba energie.Po\u010das platnosti certifik\u00e1tu mus\u00ed vlastn\u00edk budovy pri jej predaji odovzda\u0165 iba platn\u00fd certifik\u00e1t nov\u00e9mu majite\u013eovi, pri pren\u00e1jme je povinn\u00fd jeho k\u00f3piu odovzda\u0165 n\u00e1jomcovi a do piatich dn\u00ed od jeho prevzatia ho mus\u00ed nov\u00fd majite\u013e umiestni\u0165 na vidite\u013enom mieste. T\u00fato povinnos\u0165 maj\u00fa majitelia budov, ktor\u00e9 nav\u0161tevuje verejnos\u0165 a m\u00e1 viac ako 250m2, ktor\u00e9 vyu\u017e\u00edvaj\u00fa org\u00e1ny verejnej moci, ale aj budovy s plochou viac ako 500m2, ktor\u00e9 takisto \u010dasto nav\u0161tevuj\u00fa \u013eudia. Energetick\u00fd certifik\u00e1t je d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00fd doklad, na z\u00e1klade ktor\u00e9ho si m\u00f4\u017eeme overi\u0165 jej energetick\u00fa hospod\u00e1rnos\u0165, \u010do je podstatn\u00e1 inform\u00e1cia pri ka\u017edom jej predaji \u010di pren\u00e1jme.
